And a special thanks for reminding me to just take a moment to peer out to the crowd and watch our community brunching and picnicking and laughing and hugging -- it was a beautiful sight and it's now etched in my memory!" Stephanie Lieber is the Executive Director for Imerman Angels. We can take away so many beautiful lessons and thoughts from her note to our team.
The appreciation and recognition of all the hard work that goes into planning and executing an event is honestly one of the best gifts we can receive. It's not often that people take the time to share positive feedback. It's not taken lightly or for granted.
The other takeaway from her note is to appreciate the moment. Lieber states that we reminded her to stop for a moment and enjoy the view. That beautiful moment is now etched in her mind. We have all heard the saying "stop and smell the roses", but how often do we really stop and really appreciate? We are all so busy, so rushed. Life is not a race, even though we participate in a lot of them. It's a gift. Enjoy it. Don't rush through it.
